Shredding: CROSSROADS, INC. offers a secure shredding operation for both corporations and residents, offering pickup service, and discretion. We offer one time disposal or ongoing shredding services. We are AAA NAID certified. This certification is the highest obtainable in the secure document destruction industry. Through this certification, we are audited to be sure we are meeting all of the requirements of NAID, ensuring we are handling all your documents in the most secure manner possible. Every person with a disability can work competitively in the community if the right strengths of that individual are matched with the employer’s needs. Supported Employment is a unique employment service for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Supported employment is for individuals who require ongoing support services to succeed in competitive employment. Crossroads partners with a variety of business environments to provide supports, including initial placement and stabilization in the workplace. Supported employment offers a range of assistance for individuals from a job coach. A job coach is provided in supported employment who is a resource to both the job seeker and employer’s staff. Crossroads goal is to maintain long-term employment for individuals who have previously been unable to succeed in traditional employment.

Choices/Connections: Day Habilitation is offered in Muscatine and Tipton. Our program assists clients in developing and maintaining life skills as well as community integration. Our services enable and enhance client’s intellectual functioning, physical and emotional health and development, language and communication development, cognitive functioning, socialization and community integration, functional skill development, behavior management, responsibility and self-direction, daily living activities, self-advocacy skills, and mobility. Residential and In-Home Services
Supported Community Living: CROSSROADS, INC. offers 2 Supported Community Living waiver sites – within the city of Muscatine, and also in Tipton. Our supported living sites help qualified participants foster a sense of community through enhanced independence and self esteem. We also provide In-Home SCL support services. The waiver funded living site presents opportunities for development and growth. To apply, qualified persons 18 years of age and older are encouraged to contact Shanon Johnson, our Supported Community Living Manager.
