A new holiday tradition

Nightly, from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve, you’ll be able to drive through Weed Park which will be transformed into a winter wonderland with over 40 professional light displays.

Staffed by volunteers to raise funds for Crossroads and Senior Resources, this event will become the next big holiday tradition in Muscatine!

How You Can Participate

Holiday Lights Walk

Kick off the season with the NEW iLLUMINATE Holiday Lights Walk on Tuesday, November 25, from 5–7 PM at Historic Weed Park.

Enjoy a special walk-through of the dazzling light display before drive-through nights begin, with hot cocoa, popcorn, a glow stick, and a photo with Santa included for a suggested donation of $5 per person or $15 per family.

Guests should park at the Muscatine Community College Colorado Street lot, where a free shuttle provided by Non-Emergency Transport will take you to and from the park.

Please note: there will be no parking or drive-through traffic allowed in Weed Park during the walk event.

Drive-Through Light Show

From Thanksgiving through December 28, you can enjoy a cozy drive-through holiday light show that has already welcomed more than 10,000 cars and become a favorite Muscatine tradition.

Every pass through the display helps support meals, day programs, and community living services for more than 600 seniors and people with disabilities—so while you’re making memories with your family, you’re also shining a little extra light into someone else’s holiday season.
