COVID-19 Prevention Plan: Effective immediately, Day Habilitation and Supported Employment services have suspended services until Friday, April 3, 2020 in Muscatine and in Tipton. Supported Community Living locations will remain in operation as will Crossroads Muscatine production services.
Crossroads, Inc. Board of Directors and leadership are taking this action in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to comply with Governor Reynolds’ proclamation regarding public services. We regret the inconvenience to our clients, guardians and the public in these unprecedented times. Prior to April 3, 2020, our plan will be evaluated. Adjustments will be made and communicated to appropriate parties. It is our hope that we can resume services at that time. In any case, Crossroads will follow the recommendations of the State of Iowa and CDC to determine the course of action.
Crossroads, Inc. is committed to serving the Muscatine and Tipton areas to “Help People Reach Their Greatest Potential.”
Additional Information: Crossroads is concerned about the impact financially and health-wise on our current employees. We are making every attempt to move employees who normally work in one of the services that have suspended operations into one of our services that are remaining open. In addition, we are providing employees with information regarding state and federal programs for which they may be eligible.
Crossroads has served the community for over 50 years and will continue to provide quality day habilitation, supported employment and residential and hourly supported community living services. In addition, Crossroads will continue to provide local industry with assembly and packaging services by launching Collaboration 1—our transition from a sheltered workshop to a business partnering relationship.
